A sunset of fire that descends directly into the throat of the volcano of Stromboli, the island of the Aeolian (EOLIE) Islands: it looks like a painting, it seems an impossible line that is repeated day after day with a breathtaking spectacle.

Stromboli è un’isola italiana appartenente all’arcipelago delle isole Eolie, in Sicilia. Si tratta di un vulcano attivo facente parte dell’Arco Eoliano. Posta nel bacino Tirreno del mare Mediterraneo occidentale, l’isola è la più settentrionale delle Eolie e si estende su una superficie di 12,2 km²

Located in the Tyrrhenian basin of the western Mediterranean sea, the island is the northernmost of the Aeolian islands and covers an area of 12.2 km²
